We've wrapped up our 4th annual Remember September campaign.

SADD activities were run across the country to generate awareness around road safety. This remembrance month was our charity's best yet!

We would like to say a huge thanks to our programme sponsor Caltex, who teamed up with SADD 4 years ago to bring you Remember September.  Caltex are proud supporters of our cause and our Charity is very thankful for the support Caltex provide.

We would also like to thank the AA Driving School for donating over $4,000 worth of prizes for the SADD Road Safety Quiz on Kahoot. Great stuff to all of those schools who competed and congratulations to the winning school Waimate High!

Great work to all those schools who got involved in the awareness month. Here's a bunch of great snaps!

Awesome work Tararua College, who got awarded 'School of the Month'! They ran epic activities during the entire month, mixing established favourites like SADD What You'll Miss and the Kahoot with new ideas such as Car Jam and the Seat Belt Race.

Fraser High School took things to the next level this year, with a month full of SADD activities.

Along with regulars such as Stand Up and be Counted and Chalk Outlines, they also worked with the local council, the Booze Bus, and got their junior committee members to run their own SADD week!

Taumarunui High School kicked off the awareness month with a simple yet effective activity - Chalk outlines! They drew helpful road safety messages and stats around the school to raise awareness among their peers and shared them on social media.

South Otago High School (SOHS) decided to run a SADD week for Remember September. They ran It's SADD What You’ll Miss and Chalk Outlines which engaged the whole school with the campaign and got the Police to come in for a chat.

Since joining SADD it’s been a rewarding experience – everything we did was making a difference, even if it was something small. Just getting everyone involved and raising awareness of SADD has been a highlight, as well as the obstacle course we’re doing for the final day of Remember September! - Aparima College

Participating in Remember September has given us a chance to interact more with all year levels and see other junior students leadership qualities flourish in a supportive environment. This year Okaihau College has made a huge effort to really engage in SADD. Our team has grown even bigger now with at least 12 students across all year levels and increasing! - Okaihau College
