Brake is a national road safety charity that works to prevent road deaths and injuries and to provide free support to families who have been bereaved in road crashes. You can find out more about what they do at www.brake.org.nz.

Brake coordinates National Road Safety Week each year and provides free resources and activity ideas to groups who want to run activities as part of the week. It’s a simple way to raise awareness of road safety and get involved in a national event. Visit www.roadsafetyweek.org.nz to find out more and sign up.

Beep Beep! Days are also run by Brake and teach key road safety messages to 2-7 year olds in childcare centres and primary schools. If you would be interested in running a Beep Beep! Day for a local childcare centre or school, contact Brake on info@brake.org.nz or 021 407 953. Find out more about Beep Beep! Days at www.brake.org.nz/beepbeepday.
