As you will know, Kaitiaki o Ara/SADD stands to empower young people to make our roads safe for everyone. To ensure we are doing this effectively, we need to hear directly from youth – their perspectives, influences, and attitudes towards road safety.
We’ve created a survey for young people aged 13 to 19 to gather valuable insights. It covers:
What influences them and which digital platforms they engage with.
Their road safety attitudes, behaviors, and motivations.
The results will help us ensure our programmes are fit for purpose and give all of us in the sector a clearer understanding of what matters most to young people.
Why should youth participate?
Every respondent goes in the draw to win epic prizes, such as $100 vouchers and free driving lessons!
Their answers will shape programmes and campaigns designed with their needs and preferences in mind.
This survey will close on 30th April 2025 with prizes being drawn on 1st May 2025.

All responses are anonymous so we encourage respondents to be completely honest so we can build an accurate insight into what's happening in the road safety space for youth.
