Driver licence journey

“We adhere to our licence conditions for ourselves and for others”

Do you have the key steps for success? When we begin the journey of obtaining our licence it affects all road users, including cyclists, drivers, and pedestrians. We all rely on knowledge and experience to keep us safe on the roads. Lack of experience is one of the leading contributing factors to crashes on New Zealand roads and we want to see this change.

  • Being licenced

  • Being educated

  • Getting adequate practice

  • Adhering to licence conditions

Earn NCEA Credits for Getting Your Driver’s Licence!

Did you know you can earn NCEA credits just by getting your driver’s licence? In New Zealand, students can gain credits at Level 1, 2, and 3 when they pass their Learner, Restricted, or Full Licence. It’s a great way to have your driving achievements recognised while building important life skills.

Check with your school to see how you can have your licence added to your record and start earning credits, or check out the NZTA website for more info.
