Thanks for taking the time to tell us a bit about yourself Dorothy. First of all, tell us where you are from and what you like to do in the weekend or school holidays.

I am from Lower Hutt, and I usually work at the hospital café during the weekend or school holidays. I also volunteer at the vet clinic which I enjoy. When I get a bit of free time, I enjoy hanging out friends or practicing driving.

How long have you been involved with SADD?

Since 2019

What is your favourite subject at school and why?

I think it would be design technology as it is very practical, and I enjoy doing my own thing.

Where is your ideal holiday destination?

Bali, as it would be a cool experience.

I think we can all agree with Dorothy here, I mean LOOK 😍

What do you think makes a good leader?

A good leader is someone who guides others, like a teacher. They set examples at being a good person to others and showing kindness.

Last Question: what are your 3 top winter driving tips?

1) If you are not confident enough yet don’t do it.

2) Stick to the 4 second rule in wet conditions

3) Don’t forget to use your headlights

Thanks so much to Dorothy for sharing about yourself for the blog!
We’re after more students across New Zealand to share a bit about themselves, what their experiences have been with SADD and what activities they have planned for the rest of 2020. Let us know if you would be keen to be featured!
