Last week I spoke to Ash about her NLP experiences and how cool it was to meet Micaela from the Far North. This week you can find out about Micaela’s experiences.

Mia: “What was your favourite moment of the NLP? What stood out the most to you?”

Micaela: “Spending time with the other National Leaders in the apartment was so much fun. Just playing cards and getting to know each other.”

Mia: “It is always great hanging out and just having fun. How did you feel meeting each other for the first time?”

Micaela: “I was so excited. The first time in Christchurch I had no idea what to think or do, or act, as most of them had met each other before, but Ash is so lovely and we’ve become so close.”

Mia: “That is awesome to hear. What did you learn about each other's communities? Are there major differences or even similarities”

Micaela: “There are a lot of similarities between our communities. This helped us to be able to work out our issues and target where we wanted to support.”

Mia: “Yes it was interesting to see that your communities have similar issues. Did the NLP event meet your expectations?”

Micaela: “Yes, it did. I thought it was so cool to be able to meet people with the same interests and motives as me.”

Mia: “Do you think both of your areas are facing the same road safety challenges?”

Micaela: “I think so. it’s quite similar.”

Mia: “What is your biggest takeaway from the NLP?”

Micaela: “All of the behind the scenes hustle. It was so cool to be on the planning side of things.”

Mia: “Thank you so much for chatting with me. It was great to have you all together at the NLP.”
