Recapping RSW 2023

Road Safety Week 2023 was a busy one for us here at Kaitiaki o Ara, there was a flurry of awesome mahi happening all over Aotearoa, and beyond! We are so proud of the work our organisation does to make our roads safer, and extremely proud of all the young people who are at the heart of what we do! Read on to see what we got up to and check out some photos from the week!

Donna and Vic spent the week in Perth for their National Road Safety Week, presented at the WA Youth Road Safety Summit- ‘Road Safety Starts with Me’ and met with the WA Road Safety Commission . You will hear much more about this in next week’s blog.

Kaitiaki o Ara staff and students dressed in yellow raising awareness for road safety!

We launched our new interactive video; The After Party. This brand-new resource has been designed for rangatahi to view and interact with at school, in youth groups, or at home with the whānau. The video features multiple points when viewers can click on decisions, leading to different scenarios unfolding.  https://www.sadd.org.nz/interactive-video

Sandra attended the Brake NZ Road Safety Week launch and Auckland Transport - Te Ara Haepapa RSW event.
