Leader highlights from 2023!

The end of the year is always a great time to reflect on what we have enjoyed. Read on to hear some favorite moments from some of our National and Regional Leaders.

Georgie Muller - National Leader

This year I was fortunate enough to travel to Hawaii with my family in April. It was truly an incredible experience and I will cherish all I've seen forever, the views were insane and I cannot wait to go back! As well as this all SADD National Leaders attended the camp in Christchurch, where I met some amazing individuals that I am so grateful to now call my friends, and look forward to working with more.

Olivia Adie - National Leader

This year I have loved the ability to have meetings each Term with other SADD students from around my city. I also loved getting the opportunity to speak with many news outlets about my story therefore being able to raise awareness about my health conditions!

Tahlia Camden - Regional Leader

The highlight of my year was most definitely the SADD conference held in Wellington back in April. By attending this conference I met so many like-minded people and was able to create new friendships that made the workshop even more enjoyable and memorable!!

Thea Betts - National Leader

A highlight of mine for 2023 was the SADD National Leaders event! This was an incredible opportunity to meet amazing new people and start my journey towards creating positive change on New Zealand roads.

Ryan Anita - National Leader

One of my most memorable moments of 2023, was when I was given the opportunity to organise a Parliamentary Youth Engagement event in Pūketapapa Mount Roskill. This saw me bring multiple youth affiliated organisations along who were able to engage with the youth on the importance of safety on our roads in Aotearoa.
