Introducing our new National and Regional Leaders!

We are very excited to introduce you all to our new National and Regional Leaders. A big part of what SADD/Kaitiaki o Ara aims to do is build up young leaders, giving rangatahi opportunities to be leaders in their communities, as well as opportunities to build their own leadership skills and have their voices heard. We do this in a number of ways, and our leadership programme is a key part of that. Today you will get to meet the leaders from two of the streams of our leadership programme; our Regional Leaders, and National Leaders.

Quick re-cap of these two Leadership Programme streams:

Regional Leadership Programme - Young leaders working on issues that impact their regions, representing young people involved with SADD in their region, and working on projects involving strengthening the regional connections and collaboration between SADD students and groups.

National Leadership Programme - Young leaders representing young people involved in SADD at a National Level, they focus on projects and issues that affect the SADD programme nationally including providing youth input to national programme development, resource and merchandise design, strategic development and more.

We are looking forward to seeing each of these leaders develop over the next 18 months, you will be seeing a bit more of them and the mahi they get up to as well!
