Youth Representatives - stronger, together!

It’s been a privilege to start the year supporting Jess (Youth Representative) and Tayla (Deputy Youth Representative) in their respective roles. Importantly, this hasn’t been about them working independently, but very much about their combined approach to make the representative roles even stronger and more purposeful. The point being we are all stronger, together!

They are full of great practical ideas and are in the midst of hatching a plan for 2023 and beyond. These 2 roles have something in common with groups at school. Visibility, continuity and sustainability apply to all. Part of their plan is to make sure they walk the talk and that their approach resonates with rangatahi.
